We’re excited to be exploring a new initiative that could see ORT shareholders and beneficiaries gain access to quality beef sourced directly from Trust-owned livestock at well below retail prices.

The proposed Farm to Whānau Pilot Programme has been developed to create a practical benefit for our whānau while strengthening the connection between our people and the whenua that sustains us.

This initiative is intended to operate on a cost-recovery basis, meaning ORT does not aim to make a profit from the programme. Pricing will be based on recovering the costs associated with livestock, processing, administration, and delivery.

As Trustees, we’re always looking at ways we can create benefits for our shareholders, and we believe this pilot could be the start of something meaningful for our whānau.

Before we move forward, we want to hear from you.

We’ve put together a short survey to gauge interest in the programme and better understand what would work best for our shareholders and beneficiaries.

✅ Explore whether payment plans would support participation
